Membership in The Church of Yahweh
Does The Church of Yahweh have a membership?
Yes. This is a sensitive area, primarily because there has been so much abuse over the years by different religious groups. There there are many, many people who have been genuinely touched by this ministry, and have expressed a desire to help "spread the word." This has come in the form of translating documents into non-English languages, "turning friends on" to the site, and financial support.
But, and I'm going to put this in large type, We are not trying to build a cult or toot our own horn here. We only seek to provide, for those who so desire, a place where like-spirited souls can join together & share a vision of the True Glories of God & The Universe. Any ideas as to how to do that responsibly without appearing to be lunatics are always appreciated.
What do I have to do to join?
Send an email telling us that you want to.
Does it cost anything?
No.
Am I expected to donate regularly?
YES!
Time, Talent, or Treasure.
If you really want to be a "member" of TCOY, then what, tangibly, are you willing and able to do do help others be touched/inspired in the same you are?
What does being a Member mean, then?
Simply that

| In your own way, in however a full-time or very limited capacity, you want to help expose others to the information you find here. This can mean any combination of Time, Talent and/or Treasure. Or just put the Membership Certificate on the wall somewhere....it has the Website address on it. |
If I become a member, do I have to stop going to my Church, leave my friends and family & move to some deserted town where we will all eventually commit suicide together?
Of course. Members get the address, and the exact date & time the Spaceship is coming.
That's a JOKE! We're KIDDING! The real answer is OF COURSE NOT!!!
Look, folks, it really is very simple. The Church of Yahweh presents ideas - fresh (and very old!) ways to look at time-worn topics. That's all! True, we want to make this information available to as many people as possible, and that does take Time, Talent & Treasure, and the more people involved in this the faster/easier/better it can happen. But that's all we are about.
The sad truth is that simply by being a religious organization and having a Web presence we find ourselves in the company of some very unsavory psychotics. All we can do is move forward, trying at all times to be 100% honest, open & above-board.
What happens?
- You send us an email saying you want to become a member. A note indicating how the ministry has touched you is essential to this process. Be sure to indicate how you want your name(s) to appear on the certificate.
- You indicate how you plan to be able to help, with Time, Talent and/or Treasure.
- I email you a MS Word 2000 certificate of membership suitable for framing, stating that you are a Member of The Church of Yahweh.
- We continue to exchange ideas, fellowship, and make this information available to as many people as want it.
- After that, only YHWH knows.....This is at present all very new......We'll have to see. As always, any ideas & suggestions are welcome.
