About the pictures on the Introduction screen
I'll be writing more later about friends and critics....For now, suffice it to say that everything that someone does like, someone else does not. It seems to help keep the universe balanced.
Nevertheless, I have been amazed at the emails about these 2 little pictures, especially the picture of me, and I want to set the record straight.
No, I do not have a messiah complex, because I am the messiah. Yes, I am Jesus himself. Yes, I am the second coming, the one prophesied of old. No one will ever go to heaven or see God unless they worship me. This is the one and only True Church, and everything else everyone else has ever said about God or religion or anything (except for women's professional basketball) is either totally wrong, or they got it from me. Thank you for asking.
And if you think I'm serious, please go have a nice day somewhere else...
Look, folks, really...

People won't read it! More pictures!" I paid a public
relations firm $500 for an honest examination of the site etc, and the
summation was:

| The top photo I took of the mountain I see from my house....I really like it because it shows the beauty of balance....When the fog is too much, everything is cloudy....and we have plenty of days where it's all sunshine....but on the very, very rarest of days, the fog is just enough to push up & over just to the top of the mountain, and that photo shows the fog slipping down the mountain....very cosmic, if you ask me, very symbolic. |
| And, the picture of me I took myself....What you don't see is the fact
that I am holding the camera just below the picture's frame, aimed at my
head, trying to look to the side so I don't have to edit the thing with
Kodak's Photo Editor to remove the red-eye....The whole thing took exactly 2
minutes, and that is NO exaggeration.... |
| And no, I'm not trying to look like Jesus....I can't stand shaving or getting haircuts, and don't do many public appearances, and the cats don't seem to mind.... |
| AND, I put the 2 together with my face looking up to the hills because of the Bible verse that talks about looking up to the hills from where our help comes....Get it? It's like a Scripture - Bible - Photo - Type of thing. |
So, hey.....Here's my advice:
- Give me a break
- Lighten up
On a serious note, I really do understand people being nervous....So many creeps and weirdoes out there, and NO I will not apologize for using that language...Hey, I live 20 miles from where 39 Heaven's Gate people killed themselves because they thought the comet was hiding the mother ship!!!! But every now and then....just oh so occasionally....try, just try to spend 10 minutes looking around before you cast your deciding votes.
