Introduction

This is a Treatise On Cosmology

1   a formal, systematic article or book on some subject, esp. a discussion of facts, evidence, or principles and the conclusions based on these

1   the scientific study of the form, content, organization, and evolution of the universe

2   the branch of metaphysics dealing with the origin and structure of the universe

 This is an outgrowth and extension of both the methods and content of The Revealing Science of God.  I recommend that as an essential companion volume.

What we are going to discuss is How the Universe Really Works.  Its origins, purpose, what happens after you die, all of it.  It’s one thing to say “God Created the Heavens and the Earth.”  This Treatise On Cosmology (TOC) will attempt to explain exactly how He did it.

As I said in my Author’s Preface, I am convinced God wants me to write this book.  But I do not claim, in any way, shape or form, that He told me the words.  Everything in here could be wrong.  OK?  I can say it no plainer than that.

So where did this come from?

  • My personal, life-long Quest for Truth. 
  • I am a student of the World’s Religions.  More than just an outside student, I live the religious life.  I’ve “crawled inside” most of the major religions, to one extent or another.  Give me a topic, and a Scripture, and a style, and I can preach & teach it, whether “for” or “against.”
  • I am also an amateur scientist.  I frankly cannot imagine how someone who fancies themselves a “God lover” could be utterly disinterested in His Universe, but this is sadly the norm today.  Matter, energy, waves, particles, atoms, galaxies, quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, geometry, trigonometry, calculus…I am nowhere near a world-class expert on any of them.  But I am quite well versed in all of them. 
  • This is not an apologetic, as I said in the preface.  An apologetic offers defense and proof of every statement in its writing.  I cannot do that here, for much of this comes from supra-normal experiences.  Put very bluntly, I have memories of “The Next World.”  Heaven.  Where we go when we die.  Like I said, I cannot prove this.  So perhaps a better phrase is “I have delusions of the next world.”  You decide.  I may be diseased, delusional, or telling the truth.  You will probably form your own opinion.
  • In short, (as I said above) this is an outgrowth of the methods of The Revealing Science of God, where I suggest that the Scientific Method is the only valid form of religious investigation.  A combination of hunches, experiments, intellect, noticing patterns, and learning from the Masters who have come before.

To that end, then, this is what I have learned (to date) in my life.  Dreams, fantasies, Holy Books, mathematics, research, and re-examination of hypotheses after experiments have all combined to created a unified, consistent Theory of Everything.  Which I present to you here.

The notion of an “atom” or “electron” is still classified, officially, as nuclear theory.  Since we cannot see, touch or in any way directly experience an electron, all such knowledge is technically a theory.  All we can say with absolute certainty is that we currently do not have any data, and cannot perform any experiments, that invalidate the theory.  It “works” in that it is self-consistent, and fits all available data.

So too with this Treatise on Cosmology.  I cannot prove it to you.  By its very nature it lies beyond the domains where “proof” is even possible.  I am presenting it to you because it “works,” in that it is self-consistent, and fits all available data.

We are going to talk about a lot of strange, other-worldly things.  Like what happens after you die.  And what happens after that.  So there is no possible “proof” that could be offered.  I cannot “show” you the next world.  I have no video tape.  There is nothing we can brew in a Petrie dish that can verify a single word of this.  But I will offer you the best I have.

We will start with the underpinning, the Two Postulates upon which all of this material lies.  Accept it or not, it is your choice.  But unlike most authors I will articulate for you my “take it or leave it” assumptions.

Then we will take a careful look at notions of "creation" in the light of these two postulates.

That will quickly lead us to observe the 5 different states of the Energy/Matter continuum, and see that this relates to ancient mythology and human psychology.  That will provide our springboard for cosmology….when it starts to get really fun.

We will look at fractals, symbols, cars, and many other tasty ideas, as ways of trying to discover what they may tell us about the worlds beyond.  We will even reveal, in front of your eyes, The Face of God.  (True, the people ages ago could not look at it yet live...But we can.)

And I will conclude with some practical applications.  Assuming this material is true, what does it mean for us and how we do (and should) live our lives.
